Jason Guard

Richmond

Born in the San Francisco Bay area, Jason moved to Fairfax County when he was nine.  Jason became interested in grassroots change as a high school student, pursuing further those interests at Mary Washington College.   Since 1997, Jason has lived in Richmond, Virginia.  He currently works at the Virginia Adult Learning Resource Center, assisting adults seeking GED certification.  He manages an online learning service, eLearn Virginia.  Initially supportive of Virginia Organizing's stand against the death penalty, Jason has great concern for issues of poverty, economic equity, access to quality education and health care for all.
